So I've been here at Belmont for 2 years and 2 months and I got an offer to work at this other place.  Warriors, the fighting/fitness retailer down the street.  And I feel this deep conflict.  The two shifts overlap, so I have to choose.  On the one hand is the job I have, a job that doesn't really push me, a job that has no future.  A job that pays my bills...nothing more, nothing less.   And on the other hand is a retail job - a standing job, a selling job.  A job that pays less and asks more.  But a job that will have me meeting people that I should meet, hearing things that I should hear, knowing things I should know.  A job that can kick me in the pants, put me on the path, show me where I'm at.  One job full of old people and one job full of young people.  One job looking after the past, another pointing to the future.

And I think it's time to move on.  I hope it's the right call.  One thing's for sure - it would be nice not having to wake up at 5 am anymore.

Facebook aka Death by Nostalgia

So I've been on Facebook for about 40 hours now and of all the faces in the world that I could have come across, I came across this one:

You know, after all these years, I figure I was maybe 20 or 30 minutes away from altogether forgetting how beautiful she is.  I hope she's doing well.

P.S. I am all hopeless it seems.  Two things I know how to do...One is to dream...Two is....
